Campground Rules for All Campers
Dear Campers,
We are delighted to welcome you to our campground and extend a warm welcome to you!
By entering the campground, you agree to abide by the following campground rules:
Article 1: Operator
The campground owner is required to request identification from every person who wishes to stay at the campground.
Minors unaccompanied by their parents will only be accepted with written permission from their parents.
Article 2: Accommodation Fees
Every camper is required to have paid the per-person fee or overnight fee BEFORE arrival, in accordance with the current price list.
Accommodation fees are calculated based on the current price list, according to the number of nights spent at the campground.
Camping sites must be vacated by 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure. If you depart later, an additional night’s stay will be charged.
Article 3: Noise and Quiet
Please be considerate of your fellow campers and avoid unnecessary noise. Behavior and attire should always be appropriate.
Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The afternoon rest period is from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Article 4: Pets
We are dog-friendly and allow dogs on the premises. Dogs of all sizes must be
on a leash at all times within the campground. Please ensure that your dog does not relieve itself on paths, in meadows, or in fields. Dog owners are responsible for properly disposing of their dog’s waste; failure to do so may result in expulsion from the campground. Dogs are not permitted in restroom facilities, rental units, or play areas .
Article 5: Vehicle Traffic
Driving motorized vehicles within the campground is permitted only for arrival and departure. You must drive at a
at walking speed, and pedestrians always have the right of way. This applies to all types of vehicles (bicycles, etc.). Only one vehicle is permitted per campsite; it must be parked on the owner’s own campsite or in the designated parking area. Traffic regulations apply on the campground.
Article 6: Hygiene and Cleanliness
We’re sure you also place great importance on cleanliness. We therefore ask that you leave the restroom facilities exactly as you found them. Smoking, as well as bringing bottles and glass containers into the restroom facilities, is not permitted.
Please sort your trash and dispose of it at the recycling center near the restroom building. The bins are labeled. Bulky waste and hazardous waste will not be accepted. Please review our specific waste disposal guidelines. You may not bring trash from home onto the campground.
You may empty the wastewater from your portable toilets at the designated drainage points. Do not allow wastewater to seep into the ground, and never dispose of it directly into the stormwater drainage system.
The sinks are for washing dishes only. Washing shoes, bicycles, etc., is permitted only at the designated areas.
Please help conserve water. Treat the campground’s facilities and equipment with care and keep them clean. Be considerate of your fellow campers and behave responsibly.
Article 7: Safety/Emergencies

A defibrillator is available at the reception desk.
Open fires are strictly prohibited on the campground.
Fire extinguishers are available at the front desk, the restaurant, and the restroom facilities. In the event of a fire, notify campground management immediately.
First-aid kits are available in the restaurant and at the restrooms. Please ensure that no one is endangered or inconvenienced by tent stakes, tent ropes, or other accessories.
For travel trailers and RVs equipped with liquid propane systems, proof of the legally required safety inspection must be provided. Propane tanks (including empty ones) may only be transported with the safety cap securely in place.
In the event of severe storms or inclement weather, please seek shelter in safe locations outside of tents, trailers, etc.
Article 8: Children
We would like to remind you that parents are responsible for their children. Children are not permitted to play at the
water faucets or in the showers. Children under 6 years of age may only enter the restroom and shower facilities when accompanied by an adult. Canoe rentals to minors are only permitted with a consent form signed by a parent.
Article 9: Departure or Early Departure
Please complete the departure formalities by 11:00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. The campsite must be left clean and cleared by 12:00 p.m. on the day of departure.
In the event of early departure, please notify us the evening before departure and complete the necessary formalities.
Article 10: Site Maintenance
Fences and ditches around tent sites or campsites, as well as separate garden arbors, are not permitted. To protect the lawn, plastic sheeting and similar materials (such as awning extensions) may not be laid on the ground. Breathable mesh mats are exempt from this rule. Campers will be held liable for any damage to facilities and landscaping.
Article 11: Fishing
General closed season from March 1 to June 14.
Anyone wishing to fish must carry a valid fishing license issued in their name. Children under the age of 14 may fish only under the supervision of an adult who holds a valid fishing license. There are catch restrictions for undersized fish and special closed seasons for various species. Only one fishing rod may be used per person. Article 12: Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is available to our guests. You’ll find the best reception around the reception desk and in the common areas. Signal strength may vary depending on your location on the campground and current usage. Our free Wi-Fi is well-suited for email, messaging, and general web browsing. Due to the size of the grounds and the natural surroundings, streaming, video conferencing, or high data usage cannot be guaranteed everywhere.
Visiting and downloading illegal websites and content is strictly prohibited.
Article 13: Compliance with the House Rules
The right to enforce house rules is exercised by the administration and the groundskeeper on behalf of SIT Rosport-Mompach. This right includes the authority to expel individuals or groups from the campground or to refuse them entry, to the extent that this appears necessary to maintain peace and order on the premises. Instructions from the administration or the groundskeeper must be followed, particularly regarding the placement of motor vehicles, trailers, tents, and similar structures.
The campsite renter agrees to ensure that fellow travelers and personal visitors also comply with the campsite rules.
We are not liable for damage, theft, or loss of property belonging to the site renter or their traveling companions, unless such damage,theft, or loss results from intentional or grossly negligent conduct on the part of the site staff. Sufficient liability insurance must be obtained for the trailer. The campground operator is liable for falling branches only to the extent covered by liability insurance.
Article 14: Miscellaneous
The use of drones and flying them over people, roads, or animals is not permitted on the campground.
